Indianapolis Top Attractions

When planning a visit to Indianapolis, be absolutely certain to do your studies and map out all the stuff you will not need to miss. There are that many things worth doing in Indianapolis like zoos, museums, historic sites and cultural neighborhoods. Take full advantage of your trip by planning ahead.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum

Found at the site of the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway is their Hall-Of-Fame museum. This is a necessity for any race fan. Experience the history of automobiles, racing, the winner's trophies and best of all , over 75 winning vehicles driven by the Indianapolis 500's best driver's. Take a bus tour around the track and get a full view of the oval driven by your fave race auto drivers.

Indianapolis Zoo

Among numerous attractions in Indianapolis is the Indianapolis Zoo. It offers a viewing of over 1,500 examples living on 64 acres in White Brook State Park. The zoo hosts specialised events, adventure tours, a botanical garden and even hosts an overnight experience for the whole family. Lucas Oil Stadium

Lucas Oil Stadium is home to the Indianapolis Colts. There's a trattoria and concession stand available or be at liberty to bring a picnic lunch. Dogs are welcome and have their own ball park. Load the automobile and luxuriate in a day with the family at Eagle Creek Park and Nature Preserve.

Mass Ave Arts District

Mass Ave Arts District, generally known as Mass Ave is a humanities and theater district that takes up a 5 block radius in the heart of the city. The neighborhood offers live theater, art galleries, eclectic shops and many eateries to delight your cultural palette. If antiquing is your thing, you'll find several shops to browse through. While on Mass Ave, be sure to take notice of the historic design of the neighborhood.
