The Great Historical Non Fiction Books

Children everywhere enjoy reading historical non fiction books since these readings will educate them fully. Any parent knows that their child needs to learn their history before venturing out into this world. Great people from the past include Amelia Earhart, Helen Keller, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Ludwig van Beethoven, Rosa Parks and Jesus Christ.

Blind and deaf people should all be very grateful to Helen Keller since she lived her total life without sight nor sound. She is indeed an inspiration to all individuals who cannot see or hear within this scary world. There is a writing titled "Helen Keller: The Story Of My Life" that will educate many people about this woman.

Jesus Christ was able to walk among other human beings each and everyday of his life. Many people took him for granted and they sometimes even feared him because of his unique abilities. He was eventually put to death by ignorant people who could not comprehend his true value to this world. "Who Is Jesus" examines his very short life.

Another great American who lived some time ago was a gentleman called Martin Luther King Jr. He was always in a constant struggle with individuals who did not want to treat people with color fairly. During his lifetime he managed to break through many of the barriers that black people faced. "Martins Dream" is one novel which focuses on his life and achievements.

Ludwig van Beethoven was an inspiring musician who brought great changes to the music world. He lived from December 17, 1770 until March 26, 1827 and accomplished many things during his lifetime. Many music artist of today still use his style within their songs. Anyone who is interested in learning more about this composer really needs to read "Bold Composer: A Story About Ludwig van Beethoven."

Mother Teresa was a force of nature who everyone loved and admired. During her life she was able to care for all types of individuals who suffered from disease and illness. She was given many awards for her work and young women across the world wanted to be just like her. "Come Be My Light" tells all about her life and great deeds that were done.

Certain people would always have to move to the back of the bus if it were not for a lady called Rosa Parks. She stood up for her rights in a very racist part of America and was arrested because of this fact. Teenage girls of color should take the opportunity to read "I Am Rosa Parks" since she made such a terrific role model.

It is up to the adults to introduce their children to historical non fiction books. One interesting woman named Amelia Earhart has many titles written about her but the one called "Who Was Amelia Earhart" explains her life to the fullest. This woman is indeed a female role model to girls everywhere and she made it clear that girls can fly planes just as well as men.
