Having Fun at San Jose Amusement Parks

When looking for family fun, there is a great collection of entertainment parks, water parks, and theme parks in San Jose. The Zoo in San Jose is rather more like a theme park with fun rides, day camps for children, along with fun discovering experiences for kids of all ages. There is always something suitable for everybody in the amusement parks in San Jose.

Raging Waters

The best of the San Jose water parks is Raging Waters is a 23 acre water park filled dazzling water slides, a huge wave pool, and something fun for the whole family. Bombs Away is a different body slide as the ride starts five stories above Lake Cunningham after you step into an enclosed capsule. Once sealed within the capsule, the trap floor opens, you free fall, and drop into the 200 foot slide. There are 5 tube slides that twist and turn down as many as 7 building stories. Non-thrill seekers will enjoy the Activity Pool good for the entire family, the Unending Brook where you float on a tube down the stream and through waterfalls. Become a pirate at Pirate's Cove where you climb load nets and shoot water cannons. The 350,000 gallon Wave Pool is ideal for riding swells and body surfing. The Tiny Dipper and Wacky Water Works are 2 attractions where the little kids can enjoy water play safely. When hunger strikes after water play the entire family can snack or dine on everything from funnel cakes to pizza at any of the dining locations within the park. San Jose water parks are the ideal place to play in the summer.

Emerald Hills Golfland

Family fun for every age begins with an 18 hole tiny golf course, bumper automobiles, and laser tag. Take a fast ride on the Golfland Water Slides and land in a wonderfully clear pool. Play the day away in the Colonnade with games where you race, play guitar, dance and much more. The Arcade is complete along with a collection of fun ticket games like Massive Rig Trucking, Skee Ball, and Wheel of Fortune. Redeem your tickets for prizes at the Colonnade Prize Counter. The Emerald Hills Golfland, one of the most unusual theme parks in San Jose, is an excellent place to hold a celebration for a birthday with friends, food, and birthday cake.

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo

Amusement Parks in San Jose encompasses the Happy Hollow Park & Zoo which is far more than the habitats of mammals, reptiles, and birds. It is a wonderful place for youngsters to learn about the animals of the world while playing and having a good time. Happy Hallow offers fun classes and camps for youngsters like the Push-chair Safari for babes and their mother and father which is pretty much like having a play date at the zoo. Adults and babes take a push-chair tour of the zoo and attend a class to study the varied animals items. Zoo Children (ages 3 -4) attend interactive classes to meet animals up-close, participate in hands-on activities and make crafts. Jr. Keepers ages 7-9 and 10-13 find out about caring for zoo animals with hands on cleaning of habitats and feeding animals. The Flash-lamp Safari is open to all ages to see what occurs in a zoo after dark and to learn about nocturnal animals and their activities. Children delight in the park Puppet Theater. Happy Hallow has fun rides like the Keep-Around-Carousel, Pacific Fruit Express roller coaster, and the Danny the Dragon Ride. Younger kids can ride the Grandma Bugs or the Mini Putts. The Contented Hollow Park & Zoo is one of the most unique Amusement Parks in San Jose.
