Add Color To Your Post Prom in Texas

By Anna Gilbert

Another amazing time of the year has come... it is almost Post Prom In Texas Time! Are you the most privileged parent that is tasked to do the post prom planning? If you are the parent of one of the Juniors, well it is but natural because junior class parents usually are given this responsibility.

Unfortunately that's not always the case. We get calls almost daily from parents who just now had the task handed to them and aren't sure where to turn. Although most schools start planning their post proms in the fall, it's not too late to put yours together as long as you start acting fast! Here are a few tips to add excitement to your Post Prom in Texas with Activities From Texas Entertainment Group!

The first thing that you need to consider is set a theme. Once you are able to set a theme, the budget, the equipment and the rest of the activities and part of the program will just follow. There are parents who just simply do not make another theme, instead they just follow the theme of the prom itself. For others who want variety, selecting another theme for the post prom is most exciting.

When you have already chosen a theme, next comes the budget. How much can the batch afford and how much can you possibly raise to make the affair successful? Although most school after prom committees have already started their fundraising earlier, you can still, continue with some fundraising activities to help save-up for the main event. Many vendors in your area will be more than willing to provide some help if you just ask.

When you are done selecting a theme and budget, now is the best time to prepare the activities intended for your post prom. Decide immediately on what activities you ah vein mind. Equipment might no longer be available this time of the year, so quickly act upon this. Of course, there are still items available but it still is a good choice if you will be the first ones to choose. The sooner you are able to decide on the activities and the equipment, the better it will be for you in ironing the rest of the night to make it successful.

Everyone seems to love sports games for project graduation and after prom parties. Kids love to compete and Texas Entertainment Group has games that everyone will love. A huge hit every year is the Coconut Climb (of course, you'll probably need outdoor space for this one)...but if you have the space, it's worth it!

Aside from the Coconut Climb, other wonderful games that can make any Post Prom a night to remember are the Big Wheel, Batter Up and the Bungee Run. One particular sports game that does not require a western theme at all is the Mechanical Bull ride. Mechanical Bulls seems to just jive with any theme and any kind of occasion. Other fun games that can perk up the night are Photo Games and Novelties, the Old Fashioned Photos, Green Screen Photography and the Pop Noggins! Name it and Texas Entertainment Group has everything you need to have a completely exhilarating night.
