Do you require a Birmingham Magician?

By Eric Hayes

Have you been given the envious task of planning an event for your work? There will be many different elements to consider. Finding a suitable venue, catering and entertainment is all on the to do list but as a Birmingham magician, I'm here to offer you some advice on planning the perfect corporate event. The first thing to remember is don't panic, if you do you will forget things, let's take it a step at a time.

The primary factor when planning your event is to book a good entertainer. A Birmingham magician would be a fantastic choice but which one? The websites are an indication of professionalism so check to see what type of content is on there. Don't be fooled though, make sure you check out their testimonials If they don't have any, why not? The majority of time it's because they don't have the experience of performing for real people.

Once you have found a Birmingham magician that appeals, check to see what performance options they offer. Most professionals will offer a variety of different services to fit the majority of events. One popular service that a Birmingham magician may offer is a walk around or mingling service. Some may prefer to perform stand up and perform for the whole group. Discuss this with your entertainer to find out what's the best option for you.

You will probably have a specific type of performance in mind, the next stage is to find out what kind of price your Birmingham magician will be. A typical magician in the north of the UK will be in the region of 400 for a good quality performer. This however is for the most popular Mingling performance. A cabaret or stage show will usually be twice as much. Some amateur magicians will quite usually charge much less in an attempt to undercut the competition, these are usually the performers who don't have real testimonials on the website.

I have to stress this point as it is fundamental to a successful booking. Don't go for the cheapest option. It doesn't mean you have grabbed a bargain; it's an indication that this Birmingham magician isn't a quality performer and they don't have real experience of performing for people. There are quite a few performers out there like this, be wary. Check their testimonials and quotes from previous clients. Ask to meet them for a demonstration over coffee to get a sense for them. The majority will oblige because they want to get the booking, they rely on it for their living, they will want to show their act off and sell it to you.
