By John Riteorine

Music lovers definitely love to hear bands and singers play live music. But there are those who'd rather not go through the hassle and the chaos of going to a gig or concert. Some find gigs better than concerts but it can also be difficult to search for the artists you like.

Through technology everything is now made easy. You can now find gigs of your favorite music artists online. You simply have to check out a gig guide online so you'll know when your favorite band will be playing near your area.

Another problem is when you go to these gigs and concerts that are totally jam packed. Sometimes it would seem like a jungle. You can get injured and you can even be a victim of theft. To free yourself from these problems, you have to be prepared when you come to these events. The following are some tips on how you can survive the crowd in a gig or concert:

1. Grab your tickets early-if you want to go to a concert, buying your tickets early will free you from all the stress. Though some tickets are placed on sale when the event is nearing it is also possible that it would run out way before the date the live band will play.

2. Go to the venue early-yes, being early is really important in crowded events. This would assure you of a good seat and a good view. You will also be able to avoid the rush and hassle of getting in the venue together with the rest of the crowd.

3. Secure your valuables-many have already had theft and other negative experiences during live events. So it is really important to keep your valuables in a secure place. if possible, avoid wearing expensive accessories and leave expensive gadgets at home.

4. Keep an open eye-aside from listening to awesome live music, you also have to keep other senses open. You also need to watch out and be aware of the things that are happening around you. Presence of mind is important in these situations.
