Rock The Party With An Elvis Impersonator

By George Mitchell

In the late and early sixties up to the seventies, not many music acts will be able to merit themselves with one thousand appearances all over the United States, performing for large groups of people that worshipped them like kings. But then, that was what one man was. He earned fame, making the biggest name in history not only in rock n roll but in music itself.

And people would not mind telling you he earned that, as well as the right to be the king of that generation in music. The young ones needed a rebel that would represent them on a large stage and he became just that. They worshipped him, devoured his acts and years later, people decided to let him live on the likes of elvis impersonator san francisco.

It makes sense you know. Pop back in the days never had a star as large as what he had been, and rightfully so. He was, in every sense of the word, an icon. It was unfortunate that he did not live long enough for the world to embrace his talent some more while he stood and watch with the audience as his loyal subjects.

They are a special group of performers, with an uncanny way to look like celebrity heroes long gone. Appearance and voice would of course be a part of that too, because that is how they get clients. Sure there are other rock n roll acts to be followed.

Doing it professionally and making a living out of it may well be more than what one had bargained for. But impersonators are common today. Especially for an icon like that man. He had a signature look with clothes that you would not mistake on any other artist.

If you are thinking of hiring one for entertainment, or for a party that would love to see the king come to life on stage with his signature looks and hair style that had lived on to be copied for generations. San Francisco, California would be the best place to look. Not to mention that it really is the place of entertainers of almost any kind.

You may have many others copying Michael Jackson but you will always be able to tell who was supposed to be who even without the songs yet. If you are preparing an event that highlights the Presley, then San Francisco, California would not have a shortage of performers impersonating him. You can be sure of that once you look in advertisements online and the listings too.

Make use of the internet and do your homework. It would be obvious that they would sing the same songs and dance to the same tune. But then it is also better to see a sample, maybe a video or two about acts they have given before and see how you like it.

Then again, looking like the man would not be enough. You should know that the way he performs and moves on stage would also be just as important, if not more. Ask for referrals if you know of someone who had hired these artists before. Today, they are actually already professionally trained, with years of experience and studying of how an artist should look.
