What Makes A Landscape Painting Beautiful

By Steven King

Art is one of the many things that helped every aspect of this planet develop over the time. Sometimes or mostly, it is used as a form of storytelling which is significant for each living man to know how his world and everything around him were molded. There are different types of expressing experiences. It could be through acting, writing, making poems, singing, or even painting.

Yet, a lot of the first men used drawing to create an illustration of what they had in mind that could result it legendary masterpieces. It really shows that the best way to depict the environment is through landscape painting. This is the reflection of what an person sees with his eyes.

Some may wonder why this type of illustration is preferable when illustrating the environment compared to portrait. This is because it always is greater in width which is a close reflection of the point of view of a human. Most individuals do not look at their surroundings from up to down. Rather, exploring the land by panning their heads for side to side.

The imagination of a person with this form of drawing is unlimited. That is why it is preferred to be used by artists. Unlike landscape, drawing in portraits is normally applied to paint the upper bodies of its subjects. Yes, the artist can choose to use either portrait or landscape however, when one paints a scenery in a narrow margin, the object will be satisfying as it is.

Painting in a bigger view is the most brilliant way to know about colors. There are very many shades the nature can put on the table. From trees, rivers, lakes to mountains, the unlimited number of objects to paint is beyond the choices of an artist. The light wonderfully changes from daylight to night. This planet and its natural course can give an artist confidence when painting.

Since art is a free expression, an artist should not necessarily paint specific stuff for landscape. This is one of the many reasons why drawing in a wider angle will make a person as creative as he can be. He can depict the environment in so many ways. If being realistic is too much, the artist can always draw in an abstract approach that entails a very deep story.

For instance, painting a view where there are many subjects to use could give the artist pressure and confusion on what object should he paint considering light changes from time to time. He could draw the objects as simple as possible because it is not necessary to draw everything perfectly. As long as he can tell the story and choose the right colors, then it can be called art.

Painting in panorama was a huge things for people in the early years. Some of these pieces are already kept in different national museums and sold at an expensive price. Describing the earthly beauties is the perfect thing about this painting technique.

However, whether it is landscape, portrait or other kinds of paintings, they are as priceless as any other art on earth. They are handmade by the people who extract every last drop of their sweat and creativity just to share the wonders they have seen in this world. No machine in this time could top its value.
