Spongebob Squarepants And His Buddies

By Kiesh Nara

Spongebob is a light hearted as well as happy ocean sponge who lives in the ocean. He has a couple of buddies and always finds himself in interesting situations. His favorite hobby is practicing karate.

He is the cook who tries his best while working in the Krusty Krabs.

Spongebob himself looks pretty comical. He's yellow and seems to be wearing a school boy uniform. He has a gap between his front teeth and has a funny tone of voice. His underwear is square and his trousers also.

You typically see the show starting with Spongebob in his pineapple formed house.

Patrick Star

Patrick is really a purple starfish that has known Spongebob for some time now. He's pretty clumsy and goofy looking, but when it comes to assisting his friends, he tries his best.

Sandy

Sandy is a great friend of Spongebob who he meets in the earlier episodes of the show. She is a squirrel who lives in the ocean. her house is an underwater dome that is filled with oxygen. When Spongebob visited her the first, he almost dried up.

She loves practicing karate so when she first met Spongebob they both were in a karate showdown.

Mr. Krabs the boss

Mr. Krusty is Spongebob's boss at the Krusty Krabs. He only has one thing in mind and that's money. He also only has one thing in his eyes and that is dollar signs. This individual wants to get rich at the expense of everybody else.

Squidward

Squidward is the angry and quite jealous sea animal you will find in the cartoon. This is quite humorous, because his arrogance usually gets him in trouble instead of helping him out. He hates his job at the Krusty Krabs

Another thing that makes the cartoon so fun to watch is the fact that abnormal things happen that normally would be impossible. Some of these things are talking seafood and houses in which ocean creatures live.

Spongebob and his friends make this a really funny cartoon. There are lots of jokes which will fly over the head of young watchers, but most the jokes will be recognized.
