The nut is a small piece of material, which may be a piece of bone, plastic, or fiber among others. The nut runs into the neck of the device. The neck is where the learner should focus most on.

All notes that a person makes are normally created on the neck of a guitar. The strings extend from the neck of the headstock right to the body. The body of different guitars usually differs in shape and design. Most acoustic and classical guitars have a hollow body.

They also have an opening called the sound hole, which is used to project the sound produced by the device. On the other hand, most electric guitars come with a solid body. The sound holes of electric guitars are usually made in the form of pick ups.
