How To Write A Counter Terrorism Fiction Novel

By Nancy Gardner

Being a writer is a lifelong dream that you've wanted to achieve, there is no greater joy to you than to finally see your works be published for the rest of the world to read. Of course, you're going to have to start somewhere. This is not a mean feat too. But you have to learn what are the things you're supposed to do to get your goals duly achieved.

It is important that you know how to get the whole book started though, what you're particularly interested in this time is to start a counter terrorism fiction novel and hopefully finish it. You're no stranger to writing and this kind of story line seems to appeal to you the most. You love how exciting and interesting and tense the story is likely going to be once you start writing the details down.

Decide on the kinds of stories you would want to focus on too. There are always lots of genres you can choose to focus on. You want to go for a story you know you are going to be passionate with. If you are to write about something, then it needs to be an idea which you know you will have a lot of knowledge on, it will be easier to weave something interesting out of something you yourself find striking as well.

Find out what kind of audience you are trying to write these pieces for too. Always remember that there are all kinds of people you can choose to market the book for. It is best to set a specification of the demographics you would want to focus on. This allows you to weave your story around the idea that they are for a certain set of readers to read and comprehend.

Do your homework. Regardless of what kind of topic you want to write about or what kind of story you want to convey, you want to present some sense of realism to it. Sure, you are writing a fiction story this time around but this does not mean you should just go ahead and blabber on without even considering certain concepts that should be parallel to how things are in real life.

Remember that when it comes to writing these pieces, it is always in starting things up that you may have the must challenge with. Once you get through the hurdle of the first line, then the rest of the story should go along smoothly. Start the story with something that is interesting and striking so the reader would not want to put the book down.

Always keep a note wherever you go. What you want to do this time is make sure that you have a notebook and a pen around you wherever you go, even when you go to bed, brilliant ideas tend to strike at the oddest hours, you want to have something to write them on whenever they strike. This us important since many of these ideas can be truly fleeting.

You cannot expect to come up with something very good when you expect yourself to sit down at a specific time in front of your desk and then get up at a certain schedule too. It is always best to write to your heart's content when the inspiration strikes. This way, you are sure that the output you get will be indeed impressive.
