The Changing Face Of Poems About Christ

By Kelly Wood

King Solomon is recognized all over the world for his efforts of composing different songs and poems to Jehovah and His son Jesus. One of the renowned writings from this intellectual is the poem found in the collection of songs in the bible from the book of Songs of Solomon, we are able to see some of the collections of poem that the King himself was able to recite to Christ as he talks about the love of that exists between Him and His bride the church. The poems about Christ should therefore be a representation of what the king talked about.

It is usually used as a medium to teach on some issues that affect the lives of the people. The information is all concerning politics, economy, the culture as well as the social issues that touch the community directly.

In the recent days, there are several revolutions that have taken place and even the churches have not been left out. No wonder Jesus talks about it when He tells the disciples the emergence of the falls prophets, where He says that the miracles to be performed by the falls prophets will deceive all in the world including the very elect.

Otherwise it can be as bad as that person who opened the church of devil and is recruiting members into it to worship the devil. There are, therefore, a bad and a good poem and so we have to differentiate them to see the distinction between the two.

Most people particularly the Christians may think that they are worshiping the only true God, but instead they are just praising the devil. He has used the music and the poem to mix the world and the church so that at least these two ends can meet in music and or poem.

The same way the secular music has been introduced in the worship is the same manners the other forms of idol worship have been introduced. Poems are proper channels through which words are passed to the recipients.

Do the Bible talks relate to the poem; yes it talks about the poems being used by King Solomon to represent the love of Jesus to the church. This is a typical type of poem that really talks about the Messiah and within it we are able to feel the urge of the words driving us with motion whenever is being presented.

We are not just saying that the poem is bad, no and absolute no, it is good but only when used wisely to spread the gospel. At times it can be used to pass the information about the true salvation but however it is used to represent the other side of the coin depending on the context in which it is used.

This cannot be reversed, because God Himself warns about adding or removing anything to the content of the Bible. We should therefore avoid the temptations by composing only those true poems about Christ.
