It is a matter of great pride for Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe to be showing support for the Defending Freedom Warrior Weekend Benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project once again. Complete Parachute Solutions is a company, manufacturing high-tech parachutes, and is based in the home town of Kermit's business office and manufacturing operations, DeLand Florida, - notably, it is the one, which started the event about 7 years ago. In the city, you can also discover one of the best skydiving facilities within the country, Skydive DeLand.
Between the dates 17th and 20th of April, Warrior Weekend will use the opportunity to express gratitude to more than 40 national heroes, who have been injured, by providing them with an unforgettable experience. These brave souls will enjoy their treatment for 3 days, but they are definitely going to be enjoying it quite a lot, from the very moment they get off their private motor coach and receive their gift basked from Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe.
The great weekend experience will begin on Thursday, with a barbecue event, and notably - Kermit's Key Lime Pie. Special Forces currently in active duty will be glad to make a tandem jump with the veterans on Friday morning, at the so-called Skydive Boogie. DeLand's mayor and officials will be glad to welcome the Warriors at another barbecue event, which will also be open the the public. As the crowd loudly cheers, there is no greater pleasure than seeing the brave veterans reach the drop zone, knowing that they are appreciated.
The Rotary Club of Downtown DeLand and the Mainstreet DeLand Association are the ones hosting Friday evening's event - the Downtown DeLand Block Party. There is an abundance of things prepared just to show our appreciation for the great Warriors, and these things include yet another marvelous barbecue, specially backed up by Kermit's barbecue sauces and seasonings, and many other great things to entertain the guests of honor.
The Wounded Warrior Golf Tournament at Pelican Bay Country Club in Daytona Beach is the event, which comes in the early morning of Saturday, right after the festivities from the prior evening. There will be more than one surprise to astonish you throughout the tournament, such as the various distractions provided by Kermit's, which will appear after playing a given hole. There will be a lot of fun and silliness going on during this tournament, even though it will be graced by some of the most serious golfers out there.
