Make Lasting Memories With Dolphin Tours Seagrove

By Eric Evans

When you travel to a place like Seagrove, FL, there is an almost overwhelming amount of things to do. It may be hard to choose just a few activities to do, but one of the most popular in the area is Dolphin Tours Seagrove, and for good reason. These excursions are fun for any age or interest, and range from short and sweet journeys to longer ones.

There are lots of choices of excursions when it comes to this type of tour. Some boats take individuals in case you don't have anyone else to go with. You'll meet lots of other people, so you won't be alone. For families, try a family tour, which you may be able to get at a discounted group rate, depending on how many people are there. There are even private tours where your group or family are the only ones on board, allowing for privacy.

You may also choose from either day or night tours. The day tours leave at different times throughout the day, with some going out early in the morning and others in the afternoon. These generally last anywhere from two to four hours, depending on just how much time you want to spend out on the water.

Evening tours may also last from two to four hours, depending on how late in the day they take off. Most of these are timed to coincide with the sunset, so you get to enjoy the sun setting over the water, which creates a colorful glow that looks like something out of a postcard. Some people take these with their partner for a romantic time, while others just go as a group to enjoy the scenery and dolphins.

You can opt to have a tour where you wear regular clothes and stay on the boat. Of course, if you are more adventurous, you can don a bathing suit and go on a snorkeling tour to interact with the dolphins right there in the water. You will get a great chance to see other water wildlife as well while you swim with your group.

Snorkels are generally provided to you by the touring company, and they will be cleaned and fully sanitized for your protection. However, if you have your own, you may bring them with you, along with a towel, sunglasses and sunscreen to protect your skin and eyes from sunrays.

It is important to stay hydrated in the hot sun, so bottled water or other refreshments may be provided by the tour operators. Sometimes juice is also available, and if it's an adult cruise, then there may be beer or wine instead.

Of course, you are free to bring your own refreshments if you like. Some people even bring snacks just to make sure they don't get hungry on board. Other things you may want to bring is a camera so that you can take still pictures or videos of this fantastic experience. If you are snorkeling, bring a special underwater camera to ensure you snap a picture of the dolphins beneath the surface to show off to family and friends.
